      At the early stage of the 1980s, photochemical reaction was applied in an increasing number of industries for its energy conservation, environmental protection and efficiency characteristics. With the progress and continuous improvement of technologies, the output and quality of UV light sources have achieved development by leaps and bounds. Wherein, UV high-pressure mercury lamp is a commonly used light source in photochemical reaction. The UV high-pressure mercury lamp produced by our company is made of high-quality pure quartz tube, enabling a large number of UV rays to penetrate better. Its arc length varies from 5–200 cm. The common power density is 60–120 W/cm. High power densities include 160 W/cm, 250 W/cm and even 300 W/cm. The effective spectrum range is 350–450 nm, the main wave peak is 365 nm, and the radiation energy of this spectral line is also strong. At present, there are all specifications and models of products (100 W–25 kW) optional for any industry equipment. 


      The service life of UV lamp usually refers to the time duration when it can maintain enough energy for operation. During this time duration, its energy gradually attenuates until it is lower than the acceptable scope. Normally, standard UV lamp can radiate enough UV energy for 800–1,000 h. 

      ◆Glue, ink or gloss oil can be cured under the radiation of UV rays. There are several factors that can influence the curing effect of UV rays: 

      • Selection of UV lamp tube: First, it is the matched spectrum, that is the radiation spectral line of UV lamp matches the adsorption spectrum of the photosensitizer; second, it is the appropriate UV illuminance, that is, the power and power density of the lamp tube selected should be correct. Appropriate light source should be selected according to the specific process and speed. In the meanwhile, the lamp tube must match high-quality power appliance. 
      • Photosensitive ink: The photo-curing reaction speed; anchor-hold degree of the base plate; the shelf life of ink. 
      • Utilization of reflective lampshade and UV ray: Design and quality of the reflective lampshade is of great significance for the photo-curing effect. The first is the curve of the reflective lampshade. The second is the material of the reflective lampshade. Currently, the most commonly used reflective lampshade is pure aluminum reflective board. Its reflectivity is higher than 80%. Through machining, the reflectivity can be up to over 90%.
